1987 32' Wellcraft St Tropez

This 32 ft 1987 Wellcraft 3200 St Tropez powered with the original twin Mercruiser  454 V8s (2 x 340 hp) (675 hours) is in excellent condition in Chester, CT.
The St Tropez twin inboard express was and is Wellcrafts best selling express ever. Euro styling décor with mauve colored or brushed aluminum accents differ from the traditional teak trimmed interiors of her era. The single level cockpit is well suited for entertaining or fishing. This boat has the upgraded V8 454s 340 hp rather than the standard 260 hp. Over 1700 St Tropez 3200s were built.
The St Tropez was built as a spacious family cruiser perfect for a young family. The same level deck and helm area with a comfortably padded double helm seat and a similarly upholstered companion seat make for comfortable seating underway. The upholstered aft bench seats across the transom leave plenty of space in the cockpit for entertaining and fishing. The engine room is entirely accessible through the rear hatches for easy engine maintenance. A custom aluminum radar arch keeps the antennae clear of the cabin area. The soft top of course folds back to turn the boat into a convertible for those glorious sunny days. The wide foredeck has heaps of space for sun worshipers.
But it is down below that the St Tropez really shines. No dingy and dark caves here. Gleaming white interiors with colorful accents make the living spaces light and lively. The main berthing area is the double Island berth forward, with a privacy curtain. To starboard is an adult sized dinette area that does drop down to a double berth. To port is a cleaver bench seat, berth that easily opens up into an upper and lower berth arrangement which quickly become the favored berths on the boat. Just aft is the adult sized fully enclosed head with an electric marine toilet, sink, and shower. Across from the head is the separate galley with all the amenities one expects on a family cruiser.
It is difficult to imagine a cruiser better suited for a family day-cruising the beaches or a weekend at Block Island. Cadence has been meticulously maintained and well cared for. She is extremely clean and capable; turnkey ready to offer a new family wonderful weekends on the water. She is priced for a quick sale due to a recent death in the family.
